		<description><![CDATA[Jeffrey, you&#039;re right that Firefox OS needs a sizable user base to shake the industry up, but the good thing about these web APIs are html5 standards and other platforms like WebKit are already implementing them. So html5 web apps should work just fine on other platforms, too. 

Mozilla is already making it possible to install html5 web apps through Firefox for Android, which has an incredibly large market share today. In addition to this, we&#039;re working on a web runtime project that would enable the Gecko runtime to act as an apps host on other systems.

As for your comments about the desktop, I definitely agree that there&#039;s more work to be done, but there&#039;s no denying that we&#039;ve come a long way since 2003. Flash is indeed one of the relics still left on the web, and the good thing is that Adobe itself is dropping support for it on the mobile, which will gradually nudge developers to develop the same type of UI using html5 instead. None of these changes happen over night, but we&#039;re taking steady steps in the right direction.]]></description>
