Welcome to my blog! My name is David Tenser and I work for Mozilla as the project lead for Mozilla’s global open source support platform SUMO and the Firefox Support website. Mozilla has been my hobby since 2001 and I still often need to pinch myself to really believe that my hobby is now my full-time job. For up-to-date news about SUMO, check out the SUMO Blog.
To some people, I am perhaps more known as djst, the author of the original Firefox Help and Thunderbird Help websites. I can usually be found in the IRC channel #sumo on the irc.mozilla.org network.
Aside from being a big fan of Mozilla, I am also a strong believer in open source and a former computer science student. In fact, my first open source contribution was made back in 1996 when I wrote the game Battleship on my TI-82 calculator, which quickly spread out to the entire school.
On a more personal note, I live in Eskilstuna, Sweden with my girlfriend Sofie and our wonderful cat Tiger. I love photography and happily upload most of them on Flickr. Some of the older pictures taken in the fabulous life of David & Sofie are available for public viewing at the old photo gallery on this very site.
