On some handsets, the Menu key sits all the way on the far-left edge of the row of buttons; on others, it’s the second key to the left, having swapped places with the Home key. And still other manufacturers put the Menu key on its own, smack-dab in the middle.
For most devices the Menu button is a physical button on your phone. It is not part of the screen. The icon for the Menu button will look different on different phones.
The Left H/W touch key in older models of Samsung Android phones is using it as menu key.
Its symbol is usually a small icon depicting a pointer hovering above a menu, and it is typically found on the right side of the keyboard between the right Windows logo key and the right control key (or between the right alt key and the right control key).
In Microsoft Windows, the menu bar is beneath the title bar. The menu bar in Windows may be accessed via keyboard shortcuts. Pressing the Alt and the menu-specific hotkey (which appears as an underlined letter in the menu) activates that menu choice.

The Play Store menu icon (at the upper-left corner of the screen) accesses the Play Store Options menu. The options vary depending on the screen in which it was accessed. Options can include: Store home, My apps, Shop apps, Shop music, My wishlist, People, Redeem, Settings, and Help.
The menu button is located in the top right corner in Google Chrome. It’s usually represented by three vertical dots.
To open the Settings app
- From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon (in the QuickTap Bar) > the Apps tab (if necessary) > Settings . OR.
- From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key > System settings.

Under settings > apps hit the menu button in the top right-hand corner and then “default apps”.
To open the Start menu—which contains all your apps, settings, and files—do either of the following:
- On the left end of the taskbar, select the Start icon.
- Press the Windows logo key on your keyboard.
The primary function of this key is to launch a context menu with the keyboard rather than by clicking the right mouse button: this is useful if mouse or a similar device is not available, or when the right mouse button is not present.

If you’re running Windows or Linux and you don’t see the menu bar, it may have been accidentally toggled it off. You can bring it back from the Command Palette with Window: Toggle Menu Bar or by pressing Alt . You can disable hiding the menu bar with Alt by unchecking Settings > Core > Auto Hide Menu Bar .
Tap the hidden menu entry and then below you’ll see a list of all hidden menus on your phone. From here you can access any one of them. *Note this may be called something else if you are using a launcher other than Launcher Pro.
On your Home screen, swipe up or tap on the All apps button, which is available on most Android smartphones, to access the All Apps screen. Once you’re on the All Apps screen, find the Settings app and tap on it. Its icon looks like a cogwheel. This opens the Android Settings menu.

Senior Member. In Google Play app the menu button is missing, and the only way to get to the menu is to press back until you are at the front screen of Google Play again. That means if you have done a lot of searches, you will need to press back a few times before you get to the main screen.
Where is settings option in Play Store?
