Share files or photos in email
- Select the files or photos you want to share, and then select Share .
- Choose if you want to allow Allow editing.
- Select Email.
- Enter the email addresses of the people you’d like to share with and add an optional message.
- Select Share. Everyone you share with will receive an email.

Use Microsoft OneDrive as a cloud backup, and share files, photos, and entire folders with others. Your cloud storage in OneDrive is private until you decide to share with others.
Add a shared folder to your OneDrive
- Sign in to OneDrive on your browser with your Microsoft personal account.
- On the left navigation pane, under OneDrive, select Shared.
- Locate the folder you want to add, select the circle in the folder’s tile, and then select Add to my OneDrive on the top menu.
If you cannot share OneDrive files it could be because: You have reached your sharing limits.OneDrive is not running. Your organization has disabled or restricted it.
Go to OneDrive admin center.
- Select the file or folder you would like to share.
- Click on the drop down and choose anyone, people in your organization or specific people whom you would like to share the document or folder.
- Enter the name or email address of the person you would like to share the document or folder.
Share with specific people
- Select the file you want to share.
- Click Share or Share .
- Under “Share with people and groups,” enter the email address you want to share with.
- To change what people can do to your doc, on the right, click the Down arrow.
- Choose to notify people.
- Click Share or Send.

How to share folders
- On your Android device, open the Google Driveapp.
- Next to the folder’s name, tap More .
- Tap Share .
- Type the email address or Google Group you want to share with.
- To choose whether a person can view, comment, or edit the file, tap the Down arrow .

In OneDrive, select the file or folder you want to share. Click the Share button. You can find the Share button on the OneDrive toolbar along the top of the screen. As shown, you see the Share window.
