Inviting people by email
- In OneDrive, select the file or folder you want to share.
- Click the Share button.
- Choose Invite People.
- Enter the email addresses of the people with whom you will share the file or folder.
- Click the Recipients Can Edit link.
- Choose access privileges on the drop-down menus.

Share files or photos in email
- Select the files or photos you want to share, and then select Share .
- Choose if you want to allow Allow editing.
- Select Email.
- Enter the email addresses of the people you’d like to share with and add an optional message.
- Select Share. Everyone you share with will receive an email.
Go to the OneDrive page and sign in with your Microsoft account (or your Outlook.com, Live.com, Hotmail, or MSN account). Select My files or Photos on the left pane. To share files with people in your workgroup or domain:
- Select the file or folder you want to share.
- Go to the Share tab, and then in the Share with section, select Specific people.
- Enter email addresses for the people you want to share the file with, select Add for each one, then select Share.
Go to OneDrive admin center.
- Select the file or folder you would like to share.
- Click on the drop down and choose anyone, people in your organization or specific people whom you would like to share the document or folder.
- Enter the name or email address of the person you would like to share the document or folder.

- In your OneDrive file view, right-click the file you want to share.
- Choose Share from the pop-up menu.
- Enter the name of the person you want to share with.
- Un-tick the ‘require sign-in’ checkbox.

- Open a file explorer window and navigate to your OneDrive folder.
- Right click the blank space and select “New” > “Folder”.
- Rename the folder to the desired name.
- Right click on the new folder and select “Share”.

What is the OneDrive sharing limit?
Microsoft increases file sharing limits to 250GB on OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams to give remote working a boost.
