The Navigation Pane appears on the left side of the Outlook window and is how you switch between the different areas of Outlook, such as Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes. In addition, when you’re working within a view, the Navigation Pane displays the folders within that view.

Open Microsoft Outlook 2010 or 2013, on the View tab, the Navigation Pane is placed at the top of the Layout group. Click Navigation Pane, it will appear a pull-down menu, from which you can select the type of Navigation Pane, like Normal, Minimized, Off or Favorite, or make a setting from the Options.
The Outlook Navigation Bar allows you to switch between the various areas of Outlook, such as Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes. You can also change the order of the Outlook views on the navigation bar.
It is found on the left side of the File Explorer window, the Open File or Save File window. The Navigation Pane lists all of the drives, history, desktop, and downloads that used to be on the Places bar. Below is an example of the Windows Navigation Pane.

- Reboot your PC so all Outlook Process are closed.
- Login.
- Press the keyboard shortcut Win+R to open the Run dialog box. Or, type run in the Windows Search box and press Enter.
- In the Run dialog box, enter outlook.exe /resetnavpane and select OK.
Click on the View Tab, then in the layout section on the ribbon, click on the To-Do Bar and choose Calendar. Your calendar and appointments will now be displayed on the right side of the Home Screen.
A website navigation bar is most commonly displayed as horizontal list of links at the top of each page. It may be below the header or logo, but it is always placed before the main content of the page. In some cases, it may make sense to place the navigation bar vertically on the left side of each page.
The Navigation Pane offers shortcuts to places you visit most frequently. Found along the left edge of every folder, the Navigation Pane contains several main sections: Quick Access, OneDrive, and This PC. (On PCs connected through a network, you’ll also see entries for Network and Homegroup.)
How to enable or disable on-screen navigation buttons:
- Go to the Settings menu.
- Scroll down to the Buttons option which is under the Personal heading.
- Toggle on or off the On-screen navigation bar option.
Changing the Outlook Sidebar Colors
- Click the General tab.
- In the Sidebar Theme section, select one of the following options: Colors that coordinate with the selected Microsoft Office color scheme.
- Click OK.
There is no Tools menu or, for the most part, any other menu. Click the File tab on the ribbon and select Options item on the left.
Where is folder pane in Outlook?
There are two ways you can view the Folder Pane.
- Expand the Folder Pane by clicking the > on the left side of the screen.
- Click View > Folder Pane > Normal.
A navigation bar (or navigation system) is a section of a graphical user interface intended to aid visitors in accessing information. Navigation bars are implemented in file browsers, web browsers and as a design element of some web sites.
What is the left panel?
The left pane displays the folders and drives and the right pane displays the contents of the selected folder or drive.
What is the top bar on a website called?
Header. The header of a website is the consistent area at the top of the site that includes the logo and navigation menu.
Its not a bug. Its Android accessibility settings has turned on. Turn it off from searching ‘accessibility’ in settings and turning off the ‘accessibility button’.
If you use an older Android version
- Open your phone’s Settings app.
- Go to System Gestures. Swipe up on Home button.
- Turn Swipe up on Home button off or on. If you turn it on, you’re using 2-button navigation. If you turn it off, you’re using 3-button navigation.
