- On a computer, open new Google Sites.
- At the top, under “Start a new site,” select a template.
- At the top left, enter the name of your site and press Enter.
- Add content to your site.
- At the top right, click Publish.

Where can you find the new Google Sites?
Pointing your browser at sites.google.com will take you to the Sites editor. There is a button, lower left of the page to take you ‘Back to classic Sites’, should you prefer. But we’re here to look at the ‘new’ Sites. Classic is Google’s older website builder service.

New Google Sites allows far more embed code than classic Sites’ more restrictive HTML Box. HTML Box in classic Sites does not allow use of JavaScript or CSS in externally referenced files, whereas in new Sites the embed code tool does allow this.

How do I go back to classic Google sites?
You can revert back to your classic GSite.
If you want to go back you need to do the following:
- Delete the New GSite, then delete it forever from the trash bin in Google Drive.
- Make a copy of the migrated GSite to a new name.
- Delete the original GSite from the migrated sites section.

Can you save a Google site as a PDF?
Type drive.google.com in your URL and press enter. Sign in with your Google account. Find your desired file then go to “File”, next click “Download as” and finally choose “PDF Document”. It should download into your Downloads or it will have an option to save into your desired folder.
