Whats a publisher on a website?
a person or company that uploads, creates, or edits content on web pages; one who maintains or manages a website.
Finding a Website Author. Look at the top and bottom of an article. Many websites that employ contributing and staff writers will often display the author name at the top or bottom of an article. This is the first place you should look for an author.

If your source is a book, book reviews are a good resource to answer this question, and you may be able to find several using the library’s Multi-Search.
How do you find the reference of a website?
Include information in the following order:
- author (the person or organisation responsible for the site)
- year (date created or last updated)
- page title (in italics)
- name of sponsor of site (if available)
- accessed day month year (the day you viewed the site)
- URL or Internet address (pointed brackets).
Cite in text the first few words of the reference list entry (usually the title) and the year. Use double quotation marks around the title or abbreviated title.: (“All 33 Chile Miners,” 2010). Note: Use the full title of the web page if it is short for the parenthetical citation.
Is WordPress a publisher?
