In order to unhide photos & videos in your Photos, follow these steps:

Basically “Hidden” is a special album that appears if you start hiding photos. Every hidden photo automatically vanishes from your Camera Roll, however, and while they are backed up to iCloud, they are apparently “not visible when viewing the library from a web browser” according to a chat group.
To find the “Hidden Album” feature on your iPhone, go to your Settings app. Drop in to Settings, scroll to “Photos”, and access “Hidden Album.” When enabled, Hidden Album “will appear in the Albums tab, under Utilities.” If activated, the Hidden album is always available in the image picker.

How to see hidden photos on iPhone and unhide a photo

I’ve confirmed now that Hidden photos do get uploaded to iCloud Photo Library. However, the Hidden album is not visible when viewing the library from a web browser.
For that, you need to open the App drawer and then open File Manager. After that, you can click on the dotted menus and select settings. Then enable the Option Show Hidden Files. The default File Explorer will show you the hidden files.
Method #1: Unhide Files in USB using File Explorer
- Open File Explorer and head to My PC. Your USB drive should be visible here.
- Double click on the USB device to view its contents. Any hidden files cannot be seen right now.
- On the top of the window, you will see a bunch of tabs like Home, Share, View, etc.
Many people have tried this and found that it works. Connect the SD card or flash drive to the USB port of your computer. Open the “File Explorer” and then navigate to “Tools” ; “Folder options” ; “View Tab.” Tick the “Hidden items” box option. Check now if you can view the hidden files.
You should be able to find your Hidden album by opening the Photos app, and then tapping the Albums icon at the bottom. Then, scroll down to the very bottom of the Albums view and look for “Other Albums.” You should see Hidden there, along with Imports, and Recently Deleted.
Just figured it out! Go back to your photo app and scroll to the very bottom. This view will show the “Other Albums” including the “Hidden” folder to find your hidden photos.
If you move the image(s) to the Hidden Album in the iOS Photos app before backing up to Google Photos (e.g., if the Google Photos is closed) they will not be synched from the Hidden Album.
Answer: A: If you sync them to iCloud currently they will sync from iCloud to the new phone. If you don’t sync them to iCloud but back them up to either your computer or iCloud (which is not the same as syncing to iCloud) when you restore that backup to the new phone they will be transferred.
