Choose your homepage
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More. Settings.
- Under “Appearance,” turn on Show Home button.
- Below “Show Home button,” choose to use the New Tab page or a custom page.
Primarily for Chromebook™ users, for their keyboards do not have a Home key. This extension adds a keyboard shortcut for the browser Home button. By default it will be set to Alt+H unless that shortcut is being used by another extension.

To get it working, head to Settings > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut and select the ‘AssistiveTouch’ option. Now triple-click the Side/Home button to either add or remove the floating home button.
For example, you can still get Home by pressing Fn-Pn-semicolon (press and hold both Fn and Pn, then press the semicolon key). However don’t worry, you will not have to do that to get Home, because it will be on Fn-P.
