Can a spray in bedliner be repaired?

One way to repair a spray-in bed liner is to install another liner directly on top of the current one. This should fix any cosmetic issues with the liner and eliminate the need to fully refinish the bed. A new coating of the bed should bond to the previous, as long as it’s the same kind.

Can I paint over truck bed liner?

Truck bed coatings can be painted. Try to apply the paint within 24 hours of the truck bed coating becoming dry to the touch.Do not mix any paint colors into the truck bed coating before applying it.

Can you spray bedliner over bed liner?

Bonding Agent can be applied by brush, roller or a standard automotive paint gun. A thin coat of bonding agent is all that is needed. Think of it as very durable spray paint. I’ve used them all and this is the longest lasting spray paint around. Mask off and spray the trim on your car/truck and it will last 4 years without fading and needing a respray.

The bedliner material dries to the touch in 3 to 5 seconds and then a second Premium coating is applied to the surface of the bedliner. The Premium coating will be dry to the touch in less than one-hour. It does however require 24-hours to be fully cured.

  3. Rinse and dry the liner. Use the pressure washer or water spray to rinse off the liner.
